Hello, can someone out there please please tell me if "The Satanic Verses" by Salman Rushdie is banned or illegal in Singapore?
And also, does anyone have "The Picture of Dorian Gray" or "The Catcher in the Rye" or "Ulysses"?
: D Wondering, cause I can't find them in the library currently, although I shall keep trying!

wow i've never heard of that book. It's religious right. Maybe it is illegal in singapore then.
I think it's blasphemous or whatever the word is. Haha.
It's banned in Malaysia and Rushdie is wanted dead for 2.8mil! o_o And the book is not even Satanic, as I had thought. Haha. Stupid misleading names.
